The L trim is put out to pasture. That means the 2022 Chevy Traverse LT is now the base model, and also means that in addition to the stylistic updates you’d expect from a refresh, you’re also getting more standard equipment than before (more on that presently).

2022 Chevy Traverse Interior and Technology
The three rows of seating can be configured to seat either seven or eight passengers. In the latter instance, you get the unique SmartSlide seat to ease third-row access. Depending on how many people are along for the ride, you can fit between 23 and 98.2 cubic feet of cargo, with an assist from a number of storage cubbies and compartments.
Standard features are many and varied, including standard three-zone climate control, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and OnStar™. Ascending the trims adds amenities like heated seats, a power tailgate, power front seats, and genuine leather.
The Chevy Traverse High Country upgrades to perforated leather, and adds features like a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, a power sunroof, and a rear skylight.
